Giving me little ease
I watch as you prepare to spar
The morning sun blinks, mesmerized

In the deep blue black of her soul,
She smirks up at me
With a wink of her golden filigree
I soak in the morning sun,
Enjoying the breeze that now whispers to me
And then you are ready

We circle each other slowly
Our blades locked in a seemingly endless embrace
Your eyes so full of agony and rage
But the sadness overpowers it all
And then we fall

Our steps intertwined in this eternal dance
The clash of steel assails our ears
And still, your eyes hold me in despa

Non-Existent SanityThey said that the doctors were wrong
So they locked me inside a cage
They wanted to keep an eye on me
So they made sure I was on a leash
They said they were my saviour
But I said that they were wrong

I said that I’m not mental
But they said I was wrong
My neighbour was tortured by these people
But is too scared to do anything about it
For these scientists are the monsters
That they claim us to be

They say that I am nearing insanity
But nothing can be proved
Without running loads of experiments
They plan to dissect me to pieces
So they can find a cure to my problems
Cause they think I have a non-existing sanity

How much longer will

River of TearsMy eyes are a bloodshot red,
I shield myself from the world,
My mask is but porcelain,
Hiding true nature, true self.

The air around me was once,
Comforting, yet now it is,
A bitter melancholy,
My warmth has left my body.

The winds have silenced their song,
Filling haunting emptiness,
Into the void of night's cloak,
Not even the tide speaks now.

However, if you listen,
Ever so closely you hear,
The anguish of fellow man,
Made kin in destruction's wake.

Only the ghostly flicker,
Pierces the hallow darkness,
I too set down my lantern,
Joining the faint sea of stars.

Falling to my knees, the rocks,
They remind me of my pains

Infinite LoveI feel your pain

This shows we really love each other
For us this is the perfect kind
Our bodies are attached
Our souls are connected
We gave each other our hearts
We know it is well protected
My love for you is universe wide
Heaven can't even hold all my love for you
If I went to hell my love for you would make it part of heaven too

My Dark Eyed Enemy"I see you."

The words slowly wrap themselves around me sucking me under the water before I can breathe. Plunged into the icy liquid, there is no time to breathe as the bubbles rise around me and then I am falling through the ceiling of the theater only to be caught by the wires like a hammock. Grateful for the less than painful landing than expected, I let out the breath I didn't realize I was holding.

Contorting my body so that I am standing, I take hold of one of the cables. Winding it about my leg and arm, I begin the slow slide to the ground. The landing is quiet as I glance about, landing on either of them. They are on either side of

Darkly denying details;
Intimate, important instants.

A fierce, forgotten friend
Bludgeoned, blackened, blue
Silent secrets stolen.

The boy, comatose.
